Other important and related issues were discussed, such as restorative practices, trauma informed care, and addressing inequities, racial disparities, and racial and political divides. I was sure to mention the courageous work of Buffalo Public Schools' on Culturally & Linguistically Responsive Initiatives, our Emancipation Curriculum, and the infusion of the 1619 Project.
